SW International welcomes a new member firm in Saudi Arabia

SW International is pleased to announce the admission of BMB & Co as its new member firm in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Operating under the name SW BMB, the new member firm represents a strategic milestone in SW’s continued expansion in the Middle East.

A virtual signing ceremony took place on 4 June, attended by all members of the SW International Board and SW BMB’s partners and directors, formally establishing SW BMB’s membership and reinforcing the network’s focus on strengthening its presence in the region.

Mr. Zhang Ke, Chairman of SW International, said: “This partnership is the result of months of thoughtful dialogue and mutual trust. Saudi Arabia is a vibrant and critical market in the Middle East, issuing over 14,000 investment licenses and attracting more than 570 multinational companies in 2024 alone. These trends highlight the growing strategic importance of the region and align with our strategic focus. SW remains open to welcoming like-minded partners to jointly build a truly global professional services network.”

Mr. Bassam Mohammed Al-Baqawi, Managing Partner of SW BMB, commented: “It is a great honour to join SW International as the representative firm in Saudi Arabia. As China and Saudi Arabia enter a new phase of strategic collaboration, our partnership reflects strong alignment in vision and purpose. With over 15 years of experience across Saudi Arabia and the wider Gulf Co-operation Council (GCC) region, we are well-positioned to deliver locally integrated and globally consistent professional services.”

Mr. Naim Hamameh, a senior member of the SW BMB leadership team, added: “We are proud to join the network at this pivotal moment in Saudi Arabia’s development. As SW BMB, we look forward to delivering exceptional services and contributing to the network’s growth while supporting the objectives of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030.”

Headquartered in Riyadh, SW BMB operates across 7 offices and is currently ranked 11th among local firms by client volume and 4th by overall capability according to the local professional association. The firm brings deep expertise in audit, tax, advisory and cross-border compliance, with established strengths in key sectors such as energy, infrastructure, and international trade, all of which align closely with the priorities of China–Saudi co-operation.

The addition of SW BMB enhances SW International’s strategic footprint in the Middle East and strengthens its capability to support global clients along the Europe–Middle East–Asia corridor. Through this partnership, the network is better equipped to deliver more localised, full-cycle professional services to companies engaged in Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 and the broader regional transformation.
